Child Protection Policy
Westberries Ladies Hockey Club recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all young players who are members of the club. As part of this commitment, junior players and a parent or legal guardian are asked to print, read and sign the following sheet.

Additional Safety Notes
As a club, we recommend the following for safety reasons:
- Warm up (for at least 10 minutes) and stretch before a match.
- Warm down after a match.
- Wear astro boots, shin pads and a gum shield.
- Remove jewellery such as earings, watches etc.
- Bring a drink to avoid dehydration
All Captains carry First Aid kits, however, by law they are forbidden to dispense paracetamols and plasters. The responsibility for the use of such rests with the individual player.
